| HELLOOOOOOOO xanga! it's been forever since i last posted... i've been so busy w/ engineering ;_; but it's okay! cuz science is interesting/fun sometimes... more so interesting than fun though. | hmm i keep feeling like i've crossed the line lately. actually, you know, i don't even know where that line may be anymore. haha i've been so busy worried about academics and planning and everything else that my concentration is, if not solely, mainly focused on school. grar. trying to cram mechanical engineering into 3 years and planning for it takes a lot of mind space. hahaha. 8/ i'm tired of thinking about school.. and relationships, unfortunately. i feel like i'm stressing out, but i don't really feel it because lately i've noticed that i don't even realize when i'm stressed anymore cuz i just got so used to the feeling that i just feel normal. xD. i only start realizing it when that time of the month for me is late. boo!! but anyway, how high of a standard should you set on your relationship or perhaps, how low or maybe both. i've heard a lot of talk about how movies tend to lead girls onto false ideas and expectations about relationships and i completely agree. i do indeed try my hardest not to fall for this trap w/ constant self check ups. well, i haven't seen any new chick flicks lately, but i have been listening to music and have been very influenced by the lyrics. so do you think the things people write & sing about are really true? or are they just another money-making ploy like the movie industry? like the things they actually sing about, do they actually feel that way for another person? and if so, would they claim that as love?
D8 why are our divorce rates so high?! and getting higher? do we blame the media for this? because the media is what shapes society right? and in my generation i've heard (or understood through implications) multiple times that making rash decisions are good sometimes... and can even be romantic. but is that the cause of all these divorces? people making rash decisions about marriage.. they probably married before they even had an idea what love was. haha like a friend of mine says, "it's not love, it's lust." so is it a misnomer to call them love songs? | | |
| arg i feel so trapped... trapped inside my own mind. there's no social outlet for my emotions. arg just all trapped inside this stupid body. just like last time, there's no one there to listen, & not one to understand. nd it's terrible i feel this way, to feel so many negative feelings. i'm trying so hard to fight it but i can't. i feel too much hopelessness, envy, bitterness, resentment, hatred towards myself, confusion, and somewhat regret. i'm standing, but i don't know for how long. & once i fall, i know the only person to help me up will be myself, exactly like last time. | | |
